The attenuations of this sarcode are prepared from veins obtained from healthy pigs (Sus scrofa domesticus).

The main indications are:

Varices. Ulcer of the lower leg. Mitral valve lesions. Venous stasis. Circulatory disorders. Intermittent claudication. Buerger’s disease. Periarteritis. Cramps in the calf-muscles.
