The attenuations are prepared from Picric Acid, C6 H3N3O7, MW: 229.11.

Aggravated by exertion, reading, and mental work. Utter exhaustion, weakness, must lie down for a long time. Burning pains in the eyes from the light. Boils in the ear. Papular eruptions. Occipital headache aggravated after coitus, from heat of sun and from mental exertion. Sugar and albumen in the urine. Spondylitis. Hypertrophy of the prostate gland.

Typical indications for this remedy are the utter mental prostration, with weak- ness, feeling of tirednes and mental sluggishness to the point of complete paralysis. There is apathy with a lack of energy and initiative. All complaints are aggravated by exertion. Neurasthenia. Seminal emissions.
