Naja Tripudians – Cobra
The attenuations are prepared from the careful dried venom found in the poison- glands of the cobra, Naja naja L., which inhabits the East Indies and China. N.O. Elapidae.
The main indications are:
Weakness of the heart. Threatened collapse with thready, rapid pulse; dyspnoea, must sit upright in bed. Desire for warmth, with cold extremities. Oedema of the eyelids. Dry, tickling cough. Cholera with collapse.
The German Monograph-Preparation Commission for the Homoeopathic Field of Therapy has, under the Preparation Monograph for Naja naja, published the fol- lowing indication(s) in the German Bundesanzeiger (German Federal Gazette) for naja tripudians: spasmodic conditions of the oesophagus and the respiratory pas- sages; cardiac disorders; emotional discord or upset.
