Ulceration of the mucosae with viscid, ropy secretion. Formation of fibrinous pseu- domembranes. Deep-reaching ulcers resembling holes bored by a punching tool. Cor- neal ulcers, catarrh of the respiratory tract, pharyngitis. Symptoms are worsened by cold, and improved by warmth and fresh air. |
