Jaborandi (Pilocarpus)
| Oculoheel contains the medicinal agent Pilocarpus (jaborandi). The main active ingredi- ent of Pilocarpus is pilocarpine. Pilocarpine is used in ophthalmology as a miotic and to reduce intraocular pressure. It has therefore proved particularly appropriate to use Pilo- carpus (jaborandi) for overstrained eyes, heat and burning in the eyes, and accommodation difficulties. |
