  • BC-22 Lymphadenitis, abscess

Lymphadenitis is an inflammatory condition of the lymph nodes. The nodes may be enlarged, hard, smooth or irregular, red, and may feel hot.

An abscess is characterized by any cavity containing pus and surrounded by inflamed tissue, formed as a result of suppuration in a localized infection. Healing usually occurs when an abscess is drained or is incised. An internal or deep tissue abscess is usually drained by means of a sinus tract that connects it to the surface. Both abscesses and lymphadenitis may be caused by a bacterial infection.

    Calcarea phosphorica 3X
This remedy is indicated in diseases with exhaustive discharges, such as abscesses, through its great power on the secretions, in which it acts curatively.
    Lymphatic glandular enlargements.

    Ferrum phosphoricum 3X
This would be one of the first remedies to use for the pain, heat and threatened suppuration of abscesses.

    Kali muriaticum 3X
Ideal remedy for the early stages of abscesses and where there is any swelling, but as yet no pus formation. It is the chief remedy in glandular swellings. This salt addresses the symptom of fibrinous and lymph exudations in the interstitial connective tissues that do not become absorbed.
    Enlarged cervical glands.
    Swelling but no pus formation.

    Silicea 6X

  • BC-21 – Teething

Teething is the physiological process of the eruption of the teeth through the gums. Discomfort and inflammation result from the pressure exerted against the periodontal tissue as the crown of the tooth breaks through the membranes. General signs of teething include excessive drooling, biting on hard objects, irritability, difficulty in sleeping, and refusal of food. The two biochemic salts in BC-21 are meant to aid in tardy dentition and many of the common problems experienced during teething.

    Calcarea phosphorica 3X
This tissue salt is one of the essential constituents for the formation of teeth. Its deficiency can cause dentition to be delayed or otherwise disturbed. It is of great use during dentition for symptoms of convulsions and spasms occurring in weak patients, to stimulate nutrition.

    • Delayed dentition.
    • Teeth that decay rapidly.

  • BC-19 Rheumatism, muscular problems

Rheumatism includes any of a large number of inflammatory conditions of the bursa, joints, ligaments, or muscles characterized by pain, limitation of movement, and structural degeneration of single or multiple parts of the musculo-skeletal system. The disability arises from a variety of causes, among which is auto-intoxication or self-poisoning.

    Calcarea phosphorica 3X

    • Rheumatic pains of the joints, with cold or numb feeling.
    • Symptoms are worse at night; worse with heat or cold; worse in bad weather; and, worse with the change of weather.

    • Numbness, lameness.
    • Stiffness in the neck from exposure to dampness.
    • Aching and soreness in the limbs.
    • Pains in the sacroiliac synchondroses.

    Ferrum phosphoricum 3X
Rheumatism begins with a measure of congestion and inflammation. If this can be broken up promptly, a serious attack may be averted. For this to be achieved the tissue salt Ferrum phosphoricum is essential as an oxygen-carrier of the blood and thus allows tissues to “breathe” and to dispose of their waste products. It is a useful first-aid remedy for acute attacks of rheumatism.

    • Acute articular rheumatism.
    • Symptoms are worse with movement.
    • Pains prominent in the shoulders.
    • Pains extend to upper chest.

    • Symptoms are worse with the least touch.
    • Patient is better with warmth and hard pressure.

    Natrum sulphuricum 3X
In rheumatic ailments, all the eliminative organs are involved, which include the kidneys, liver, bowels, lungs, and the skin. In these types of conditions there is a congestion in the body’s waste transport system; the organs concerned are lacking in tone and efficiency.
The tissue salt Natrum sulphuricum vitalizes the transport system in the body. It brings about the removal of the toxic fluids, which are the normal result of the chemical exchanges constantly taking place in the living tissue cells. Auto-intoxication occurs when these waste products build up in the blood and tissues.

    • Pains and stiffness in the nape and the back.
    • Pains in the joints, especially of the toes, fingers, and wrists.
    • Hip joint is aggravated when rising from a seated position or when moving in bed.

  • BC-18 Periodontitis

Periodontitis, or pyorrhea, is an advanced stage of periodontal disease in which the bone supporting the teeth begins to erode as a result of the infection. Periodontitis causes halitosis, with bleeding and often painful gums. Poor nutrition, improper brushing, sugar consumption, chronic illness, glandular disorders, blood disease, smoking, drugs, and excessive alcohol consumption make an individual more susceptible to develop pyorrhea.

BC-18 combines three tissue salts to address symptoms such as gum boils, unnatural looseness of teeth, with or without pain, toothache, gums sensitive to cold, abscess at the root of teeth, spongy bleeding gums, pus in gums, and halitosis.

    Calcarea fluorica 3X
This tissue salt is found in the surface of the bones and in the enamel of the teeth and, therefore, any deficiency of this biochemic salt in the body can result in dental problems.

    • Enamel of teeth is rough and deficient causing rapid decay.
    • Looseness of teeth in their sockets.
    • Teeth are sensitive to the touch.

    Calcarea sulphurica 3X
Calcarea sulphuricum has a direct relation to suppurations of the body. It cures purulent discharges from the mucous membranes and purulent exudations in serous sacs. It is very effective in all ailments in which the process of discharge continues too long and the suppuration is affecting the epithelial tissues.

    • Toothache with swollen and sore gums.
    • Gums bleed on brushing teeth.
    • Ulceration of roots of teeth.
    • Indicated when purulent matter discharges.

    Silicea 6X
Silicea is the remedy for all ailments associated with pus formation. Wherever pus is created in an inflamed part of connective tissue or skin, Silicea may be used. This tissue salt ripens the abscess, as its main action is to promote suppuration.

    • Toothache with deep-seated pain.
    • Toothache with ulceration.

  • BC-17 Haemorrhoids

Haemorrhoids, or piles, are swollen veins around the anus and in the rectum that may protrude from the anus. They are very much like varicose veins; they enlarge and lose their elasticity, resulting in saclike protrusions into the anal canal. They can be caused, and aggravated, by sitting or standing for prolonged periods, lifting heavy objects, straining at bowel movements, as well as by pregnancy, obesity, lack of exercise, liver damage, food allergies, and insufficient consumption of dietary fibre.

    Calcarea fluorica 3X
This tissue salt specifically tones relaxed conditions of the veins and muscular fibre. It is an essential constituent of the elastic fibres of the vessels of the connective tissue of the body. When the elastic fibres of the blood vessels suffer a disturbance of the molecules of Calcarea fluorica, such pathological enlargements of blood vessels take place, which make their appearance in such conditions as haemorrhoids, and varicose and enlarged veins.

    • Internal and blind piles sometimes accompanied by pain in the back.
    • Accompanied by constipation.
    • Bleeding haemorrhoids with bright red blood.

    Calcarea phosphorica 3X
