Helminthic diseases with corresponding symptoms (anorexia, possibly alternating with an abnormal increase in appetite, eosinophilia, eosinophil leucocytes in the sputum, Charcot-Leyden crystals as in cases of bronchial asthma), caused by ascaris lumbricoides (common round worm). Toxic effects from metabolic products of the worms, with gastro-intestinal disturbances and nervous symptoms.
