Hepatic dysfunction, conditions of cholangitic and cholecysic irritation, meteorism, in- appetence. The abdomen is distended and hard, the hepatic region painful. Urine is colored dark yellow in consequence of jaundice. The feces are also of dark-yellow coloration, produced under alternating constipation and diarrhea.
